ROBERT A. DiTUSA
Attorney DiTusa is an experienced trial attorney with over 24 years of courtroom success. He has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer in the field of personal injury practice every year since 2016. His diligent work ethic and creative approach to trial practice has resulted in an extensive history of victories against insurance companies. For the past 20 years, he has focused his practice on protecting the rights of the accident victims. Attorney DiTusa and his partner, Attorney Ryan Alekman, have also developed a tough, but balanced, approach to collecting PIP benefits for medical rehabilitation practices in Massachusetts.
Attorney DiTusa was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He received his law degree from the Toledo College of Law in 1994 and has licenses to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New York. In the past, he has represented members of various trade unions in bodily injury claims, workers’ compensation claims and social security disability claims. Upon moving to Massachusetts in 2000, Attorney DiTusa focused his practice on litigating construction site injuries. He has experience litigating catastrophic injury claims against the largest contractors in the world, some of which were involved in Boston’s multi-billion dollar highway project known as the Big Dig. Attorney DiTusa moved to Western Massachusetts in 2003 and in 2010 he merged his practice with Attorney Ryan Alekman to form Alekman DiTusa, LLC. He is a current member of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys (2005 President’s Award Winner) as well as the American Association for Justice (formerly American Trial Lawyers Association). Attorney DiTusa’s cases have been written up numerous times in Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly and he has been asked to speak about his litigation experience at legal education seminars across the state of Massachusetts.
